Thank you for visiting our website. The aim of it is to give you a flavour of life at Dormer.
Maybe you are looking for a special first school for your little one. If so, you won't fail to be impressed by our Nursery which is an integral part of the Lower School. The youngest children are affectionately referred to as “Fledglings” where they are nurtured and begin to take the first steps towards formal learning and our 3/4 year olds are our “Skylarks” where they are encouraged to spread their wings.
Or maybe it's the wrap around care that you are looking for. Our “Nest” caters for all of our children from 8:00 until 18:00 for 51 weeks a year, so you can rest assured that your child will be cared for even in the holidays if you require such a service.
Or maybe you are looking for a school which develops the whole child. We are proud of our full and exciting curriculum which encourages our children academically, physically, spiritually and socially. We have an impressive arts department and have earned the prestigious Gold Artsmark Award, proving that art, drama, music and dance are of an extremely high standard here. Equally impressive are our high academic standards. Our SATs results are consistently strong and our Year 6's nearly always get into their first choice secondary school.
