Dormer House PNEU School
was founded in 1875 as an independent day school. We provide a broad based, affordable, private education to just over 150 boys and girls aged two to eleven years in small classes. We are a non-profit making charitable trust whose fees are used solely for the benefit of the school.

The motto of the PNEU 'I am, I can, I ought, I will', demonstrates the importance we place on giving children the confidence to think for themselves and act on their decisions.

The school is one of four PNEU schools in the UK which work autonomously but are bound by the ethos of excellence laid down by the Victorian founder of the PNEU - Charlotte Mason.

We have a non selective admissions policy aiming to fulfil the potential and promise of each individual within a happy and caring environment.
